Station to Station

Walk downhill from Redruth station, under the railway into Bond Street. Turn right down Treruffe Hill, taking a path to the right under the viaduct. Visit Murdoch House and St Rumon's Gardens before heading out along Chapel Street, behind Tesco to cross the bypass, out over the A30.

At Tolgus Mount follow footpaths via Watergate and then the road to visit Illogan Church. Take the lane past Nance downhill, and as it bears left, the footpath to the right through Illogan Woods.

Portreath beach makes a pleasant lunch stop.

Retrace your steps, turning right up the Portreath Branchline Trail through woodland towards Feadon Farm, then via the top of the Incline, past the new golf course and onto the Tehidy Trail.

This runs through Tehidy Woods for about 2 miles gently downhill towards Coombe.

Take the road left, then right, and a bridleway to the left to Reskadinnick. At the lane turn left, before a footpath to the right into Camborne.

It's a 5 minute train journey back to Redruth.
