St Agnes Branch Line
A 60th Birthday walk, along the coast to Perranporth, returning inland (12 miles)

From the car park walk north through St Agnes Churchtown and down Stippy Stappy. On reaching the road turn right for a short distance, then take a footpath on the left back to join the coast path above Trevaunance Cove.

This drops down at Trevellas Cove, before climbing up on the over side. From here the coast path is fairly flat all the way into Perranporth, with optional higher paths along the way.

Heading out south along Boscawen Road, there is a short path along the old railway line.

Once forced back down to the lane, it's a pleasant easy shaded walk along the valley towards Mithian, with a footpath for the last half mile.

A byway and bridleway lead under the old railway line towards the Hayman Nature Reserve. Then footpaths via Mithian Downs pass under the viaduct.

From Goonbell, either pass over the railway bridge to visit St Agnes station with footpaths from Pressingoll Barns, or head straight back to the Railway Inn to see the painting.
